Caroline “Carrie” Bell Clark, for whom the historic and preserved Carrie Furnace in Rankin is named, is interred in here according to Rivers of Steel. She christened the furnace in 1884 and died 4 years later (born 1863) of unknown causes and no photos of her are known to exist.
